.. Hand Protection > Chemical Resistant Gloves

Chemical resistant gloves are available in a wide range of natural and synthetic materials. However, there is no single glove material (or combination of glove materials) able to provide unlimited resistance to any individual or combination of chemical agents.

Neoprene has good abrasion and cut resistance, while resisting the effects of aging, sunlight, ozone, oxidation and weather. Also flame resistant, it demonstrates heat stability up to 93°C (200°F).

Nitrile has considerable resistance to oils, fuels, and certain organic solvents. It offers excellent physical-hazard resistance to punctures, cuts, snags and abrasion. While it is not flame-resistant, it demonstrates functional performance in temperatures ranging from -4° to 149°C (25° to 300°F).
